Ujunwa Aja-Onu
Bio: Ujunwa is a seasoned Project Manager and development professional specializing in program design, management, and monitoring. With over a decade of experience, she has provided technical assistance to government institutions and civil society organizations in Nigeria, coordinating complex projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring meticulous documentation and budget management.
Currently, Ujunwa is the Project Manager at Cleantech Academy in Prince Edward Island, Canada, a collaborative initiative by the University of Prince Edward Island and Holland College. Previously, she served as the Education Program Officer at Oando Foundation, where she led the implementation of education projects across 39 communities.
Ujunwa’s extensive experience includes working with international and local organizations such as ActionAid Nigeria and Media Rights Agenda, executing projects focused on education, governance, and climate change education. She is passionate about mental health and leadership development, and she is also an inspirational writer and a personal development mentor to many young people.
Ujunwa is happily married to Adaberemchi Aja-Onu, and together, they have three children: Marcus, Zoe, and James. They reside in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
